Our second free flight took us to San Francisco, where we rented a car and drove to Monterey to stay with Nick and Angela and the puppies! Wow, it's beautiful where they are. One of my favorite places in the world is Carmel and they are only 5 minutes away from there. We had so much fun with them for 4 days and did a lot of sight seeing and just enjoying each other. I had never been to Santa Cruz so that was fun too! jetBlue is discontinuing flights to San Francisco from SLC, so we will have to get creative to get there.

Wow what cute grandkids! They are so much fun and entertaining too! We are so thankful Grandbaby #3 has arrived. Emma is a joy!
The last picture is Jenessa with Marilyn at Universal studios. We finally used a jetBlue perk and flew to Burbank for a few days of fun. We went to Hollywood and watched some stars (Renee Zellweiger, George Clooney, some actors from The Office, etc. ) arrive for the premier of "Leatherheads" . We also had a fun day at Universal Studios. We need to fly a lot more often to enjoy the benefits of free flights! The trick is getting time off from work to enjoy the benefits and paying for the car rentals and hotels when we get there. We need some cheap day trips!
